About Me

Hi, I’m Emma — the founder of Perpetua Fitness & Coaching. I’m a Level 3 Personal Trainer with a specialism in Exercise for Menopause, and I’m passionate about helping people discover the joy of movement. Whether you’re brand new to exercise, looking to reignite your spark, navigating the different stages of menopause, or simply wanting more structure and focus — I meet you where you are in your exercise journey and guide you forward.

 

So, why does this matter so much to me? Because exercise has been a constant in my life — shaping not just my body, but my confidence, resilience, and wellbeing. From a childhood spent swimming, to discovering a love of running, and later falling in love with the gym, movement has always been part of who I am.

 

In 2019, my family’s expat adventure began with a move to the USA, this where my love for resistance training truly began. I was introduced to a set of dumbbells, showed that machines weren’t to be feared, and encouraged to embrace strength training. I was hooked. I loved the variety, the energy, the community, and most of all, how strong and empowered it made me feel. That confidence carried me into group boxing sessions, a Tough Mudder challenge, and even helped me through the uncertainty of the Covid years.

 

Since then, whether in Switzerland or now in Taiwan, the gym has remained my anchor. Resistance training has kept me strong for my children, supported me through menopause (now stepping into the post-menopause era), and become my outlet for mental health and self-care. It has given me courage to try new things — trail running through mountains, entering running events, and building friendships that will last a lifetime.

 

Exercise has given me so much more than fitness — it’s given me joy, energy, confidence, and connection. And now, I want to pass that on. My mission with Perpetua Fitness & Coaching is to help you find your own joy in exercise, to see movement not as a chore but as a gift: a way to feel stronger, more confident, and more energised in every part of life.
